A) Center for Complex Networks and Data Science (CCNSD) is recruiting two faculty members:
The successful candidate will have a track record using network science to study real-life problems. Areas of study may include any aspect of complex systems that address biological, social, technical, informational, or geospatial systems. The preference is for candidates with a background in statistical physics and network science. Synergistic projects could involve network models from biology and sociology to physics to study social networks, financial networks, and cyber physics.
This is an open-rank Assistant/Associate Professor position with teaching, research, and service responsibilities. Candidate’s research plans should extend beyond their home discipline to intersect with fields in other domains.
The candidate will be part of the Center for Complex Networks and Data Science (CCNSD) which provides opportunities for cutting-edge, integrative science in Tehran.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a doctorate degree in Physics prior to the start date of the appointment. Candidate must have or a demonstrated potential for externally funded network science related research and excellence with scholarly publications.
